DTR131Microwave Flow Detector:
The DTR131is a non-contact microwave motion detector utilizing the Doppler effect. The electronic device emits a signal that is reflected by the moving material. When the material moves, the frequency of the return signal is higher or lower than the frequency of the transmitted signal. If the frequencies of these two signals are the same, the material is considered to be in no motion.
Themicrowave energy emitted by DTR131 is0.15mw/cm(angle of antenna), which is far lower than the internationally recognized safety index of10mw/cm.
The DTR131measures the frequency difference between transmitted and reflected microwaves. Changes in the microwave energy received (e.g. due to accumulated material in front of the antenna) have no effect on flow/no-flow detection.
