Principle:
The radar level gauge antenna emits a narrow microwave pulse, which propagates in space at the speed of light, encounters the surface of the measured medium, and part of its energy is reflected back and received by the same antenna. The time interval between transmitting pulse and receiving pulse is proportional to the distance from antenna to measured medium surface, so as to calculate the distance from antenna to measured medium surface.
